Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine is a century-old gold mine. As early as 1865, Hercules gold mining company (Hercules Gold Mining Company) began to operate the gold mine. In the nearly 50 years since then, a total of 13695 kilograms of gold have been produced here. The Walhalla town, where the gold mine was located in its heyday, had a population of more than 4800 people, and with the depletion of gold, the residents of the small town gradually leave. The current Walhalla resident population is only about 20.
