Coffin Bay is a small town on the south-west coast of (Eyre Peninsula) on the Al Peninsula in South Australia, about 680km by car from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and about 45km from (Port Lincoln), the largest town on the Elle Peninsula, Port Lincoln.
Coffin is a coffin in English, and I don't know why straight Australians named it for a beautiful town. Coffin Bay is famous for its world-class, high-quality oysters. Now the word "Coffin Bay" seems to have become synonymous with the highest quality oysters, where oysters are raised in natural, pure and pollution-free sea water, with sweet sea water and seaweed flavor. The flesh is crispy, especially at the edge of an oyster skirt. Very refreshing, after eating the mouth will remain fresh melon flavor, very beautiful.
