Yorketown

Introduction of Yorketown

Yorketown is a small town in the south of (Yorke Peninsula), south of South Australia, about 225km by car from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and about 30km north from Adelosen (Ardrossan), which is also located on the Yorkshire Peninsula. To the south, about 18 kilometers from the port of Vincentte (Port Vincent), the resident population of about 700 people.

Yorketown is one of the larger towns in the south of the York.Yorketown is located at the intersection of five roads to other towns and was once the center of the South York Peninsula. With as many as 200 salt lakes around the town, the salt industry once flourished, culminating in World War I production of 57000 tons a year.
