Walpole is a coastal town on the southern coast of Western Australia, about 415km by car from Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and about 75km from (Denmark), Denmark, on the southern coast to the east, with a permanent population of less than 500people.
Walpole is known for its forests, beaches and harbours. The town facing Walpole Bay (Walpole Inlet), is surrounded by a number of national parks and is one of the scenic and tranquil resorts on the southern coast of Western Australia. (Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk), about 25 kilometers east of the town, is Walpole's most famous tourist attraction.
