Timboon

Introduction of Timboon

Timboon is an inland town in (Western District), western Victoria, about 15 kilometers by car from (Port Campbell), a small town on the famous (Great Ocean Road) of Oceanic Road.

There is a dense forest of eucalyptus on the way back from the interior of Melbourne from the port of Campbell, and Timboon lies in this lush valley, and on the endless hillsides there is no sight of the marginal cow ranch. Provides visitors with a decidedly different view from the coast.

With a small population of less than 1000 people, Timboon is a gourmet paradise on the road to the ocean: famous boutique ice cream shops, century-old whisky wineries, cheese workshops and strawberry worlds. The 19th-century train line is now a delightful walkway, and after a hearty western lunch, enjoy riding, walking and photographing on the railroad.

Timboon is a family-designed tourist destination with free skateboarding parks and children's amusement facilities on the vast grass between ice cream mill and brewery, where children can play and give you and your partner a break. Enjoy the tall eucalyptus trees on both sides and the rare birds at the feet, and perhaps find the local koala on the treetops not far away. If necessary, you can also rent skateboards, yo-yo balls and bicycles at the old ticket office.
