Rosebery

Introduction of Rosebery

Rosebery is a small town in the hinterland mountains of Tasmania's west coast and, like most other settlements on the west coast, Rosebery is a mining town. In 1893, explorers discovered gold and lead-zinc mines nearby. The crowd began to distance from each other, thus forming the present-day town. And with the decline of the mining industry, the population of small towns is also gradually decreasing, and the current resident population of about 1000 people.

The largest fall in Tasmania falls, Montsouma Falls (Montezuma Falls), is only about 8 kilometers by car from Rosebery.
