Renmark is a small town in the northeast valley of South Australia in (Riverland Region), about 250km from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, close to the borders of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
Renmark is located in Australia's longest river, the Murray River (Murray River), as early as 1830, European colonists arrived here and began farming activities, with the growing population, Renmark became a South Australian town in 1904. And in 1935 it was upgraded to a city of self-government.
Renmark, with a permanent population of about 7500 people, is the largest town in the valley area and a commercial service center in the area, with full commercial leisure and entertainment facilities, from which it sets sail and goes downstream along the Murray River. The Alexandria Lake (Lake Alexandrina), one of Australia's most classic cruise routes, runs all the way to (Limestone Coast), the limestone coast.
