Dunkeld is located in the hinterland mountains of southwest Victoria, bordering the southernmost tip of the famous Grand Pin National Park (Grampians National Park), about 270km from the Victorian capital Melbourne.
Dunkeld is located on the Grael highway, (Glenelg Hwy), with a resident population of less than 1000 people, and because of convenient transportation, it is just like the other small town of Halls Gap (Halls Gap), at the foot of the Grand Pin National Park. Every year a large number of tourists come to visit for a holiday.
