Clinton

Introduction of Clinton

Clinton (Clinton, also known as Port Clinton, is a small town on the southeast coast of (Yorke Peninsula), located west of Adelaide, about 190km by car from Adelaide and about 26km from (Port Wakefield), Port Wickfield. About 10 kilometers from the next town, Price (Price). The town, which bears the same name as the former president of the United States, is the first stop in the direction of Adelaide into the Yorkshire Peninsula, and like other towns on the southeast coast of the peninsula, it is a good place to catch crabs. But beyond that, most visitors just stop here. In fact, Clinton has its own beautiful and worthwhile place to visit.

Additional attraction points:

  • Magnificent coastal scenery and surrounding abundant farmland, typical Australian inland customs;
  • The red cliffs of the town's coastline are spectacular;
  • Between Clinton and Price, the next town in the Yorkshire Peninsula, there is a great coastal walking route, about 7 kilometers long, with cliffs and shores and salt marshes, which take half a day for hiking friends to try.
  • The wetland in Clinton Preservation Park (Clinton Conservation Park), around Clinton, is an important habitat for birds, and every summer migratory birds from the Arctic travel tens of thousands of kilometers to search for food and breed. Never miss a friend who loves birds.
