Ceduna is located in the north-west corner of (Eyre Peninsula) on the Al Peninsula in southern South Australia, about 775km from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and 470km from Port Augusta (Port Augusta), with a resident population of about 4000. Ceduna is the northernmost town of Al Peninsula, marking the end of Al Peninsula and the beginning of a long and lonely driving route from (Nullarbor Plain) to Western Australia in the Narabo Plain.
