Camperdown

Introduction of Camperdown

Camperdown is a small town in the south of Victoria, about 190km by car from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.

Camperdown is a quiet town, once a gold rush town, known for its well-preserved classic historic buildings, documenting the history of Australia's young country.

Camperdown is green and shady, with an idyllic landscape in the suburbs, walking around the big green island on the town's main road, visiting the local Camperdown botanical garden, (Camperdown Botanic Gardens), or climbing to the top of Mount (Mount Leura), east of town, to see the whole town. Would be a great experience.

In addition, there are a number of large and small volcanic lakes around the town, (Lake Corangamite) is the largest of them, but also Australia's largest permanent saltwater lake, Lake (Lake Bullen Merri) is beautiful scenery. At Lake Blumby, (Lake Purrumbete) has a chance to fish giant trout and monarch salmon.
