A gorilla at Melbourne Zoo (Melbourne Zoo) tried to escape Friday afternoon, forcing the park to close, the Daily Mail reported.

Visitors were forced to evacuate (Sumatran Orangutan) Malu (Malu), a 16-year-old Sumatran orangutan at the Melbourne Zoo, who fled at about 3 p.m. Friday. A few minutes later, however, Malu was seized again, ending his brief journey of freedom.

Zoo speaker said in a statement that at the time of the incident, all tourists were safely placed. The incident did not pose a danger to anyone or cause threat.

It is reported that this is not the first time Malu escape. In 2015, it escaped from the cage with a blanket. The zoo was also forced to close temporarily.
