Australia's goverment has identified occupations that could be removed from the list of skilled immigrants.
(Department of Jobs and Small Business), the employment and small business division, regularly reviews a list of skilled immigrant occupations to determine if they match the Australian labour market.
During the review, the Employment Department will seek advice from industry, employers, trade unions and related parties.
On Thursday, the Employment Department released a "traffic light" notice (traffic light bulletin), listed suggested changes to the list of skilled immigrants and invited people to submit submissions from the same day until June 20.
The following are identified occupations that are recommended for adjustment:
First, the "red light" occupation (Traffic Light Red): may be removed from the short-term technical career list (STSOL) and / or the medium-and long-term strategic technical career list (MLTSSL) occupation
