Application conditions
Chinese mainland passport applicants hold one of the following conditions to apply for a single or multiple entry and exit permit for sightseeing in Taiwan without following a regiment and staying in Taiwan for a period of not more than 15 days.
- Australia permanent right of abode (PR);
- Have a full-time job in Australia and stay abroad for more than one year;
- Australian full-time student status;
- He holds an Australian visa and has an equivalent deposit certificate of NT $200000.

- Application form for mainland entry to Taiwan: the application form should be completed and the signature should be consistent with the passport (please photocopy the passport information page and paste it on the application form);
- The original mainland passport with a validity of more than one year (returned on the spot after examination; if the application is mailed and the passport is urgently required to be returned after about five working days);
- Applicants for a single entry and exit permit must hold an Australian visa valid for more than 6 months, and an applicant for a multiple entry and exit permit for one year must hold an Australian visa with a valid period of more than one year;
- Travel plan book and passenger list in TW;
- In the last 2 years, two inches of light, white background, off-hat, clear features (no cover), front, non-colored glasses, half-body color photo two. In the photo, the length of the figure from the top of the head to the jaw shall not be less than 3.2 cm and more than 3.6 cm);
- Passport photo page, Australian visa page, signature page, itinerary form 2 copies each;
- Applicants with student visas shall provide certificates of study issued by the school within three months;
- An applicant who is not permanently resident but has a full-time job and has stayed abroad for more than one year shall be provided with an official work certificate issued by the company;
- Bank deposit certificates for holders of Australian dependent visas or applicants for multiple entry and exit permits for one year (required Australian $7500.00 or more; Australian dependent visa holders are required to provide marry certificates);
- The above in-school proof, work certificate, bank deposit certificate, 1 copy of the photocopy;
Those who intend to apply for multiple entry and exit permits for one year shall comply with the requirements of the entry and exit permits that have applied for entry and exit permits to Taiwan.

q. What documents do overseas holders of mainland passports want to apply for to travel to TW?
A. A. A person living overseas in mainland in China needs to apply for a TW Entry and Exit Permit(Entrance Certificate)in advance, which is free to travel without a group.
q. How many days can I go to TW? How long will it take to apply? Do you have any express handling?
a. Can stay for up to 15 days at a time, can not be extended. It usually takes 4 to 5 weeks to apply for a Taiwan entry permit. The application for admission to Taiwan must be returned to TW for examination and approval. If time is running out, the applicant must provide himself with an EMS international express envelope to the office (Prepaid EMS envelope to Taiwan, 500g), so that evidence can be obtained in about three weeks.
q. I`m not sure about my trip to TW. Do I need to book a flight and a hotel first?
a. When submitting your application, you need to hand in a travel parade schedule. Please fill in the planned itinerary to TW. Please check the hotel and flight information in advance and fill in the itinerary. You do not need to provide a reservation or ticket reservation certificate. If you have relatives and friends in TW, please also fill in the names and contact information of relatives and friends in Taiwan.
q. Do I have to fly from Australia to TW?
a. After applying for the Taiwan entry permit, you can fly to TW from any place without any restrictions. a. My passport is not sent back to TW. The passport of the applicant who comes to our office in person can be returned to you on the spot. Application for mailing must send your passport to us. If you are in urgent need of a passport, you must provide two return registered envelopes Prepaid RegisterMail Envelope in order to return your passport first. The entry card is a separate document and is not a visa affixed to the passport.
q. Can I take my card at TW airport?
a. No, you have to take evidence overseas before you can fly TW.
q. Can I go back to mainland directly from TW?
a. There is no problem taking TW Airlines; on mainland Airlines, please consult in advance whether mainland passengers who do not have a TW pass for mainland residents are allowed to board the plane, which may vary from company to company.
