Requirements for applicants:

  • (B) between 18 and 31 years of age (including 18 years of age, excluding 31 years of age);
  • No children are allowed to enter Australia at any time.
  • (B) have sufficient funds to support themselves during work holidays (approximately $5000);
  • During the last stop, there are enough funds to buy a return ticket;
  • Medical examination and character requirements must be met-the applicant must have a non-criminal certificate of residence in a country more than 12 months after the age of 16 years;
  • Health insurance: while in Australia, the applicant must pay for all insurance costs. (Medicare), Australia's national insurance program, will not cover applicants unless it holds an Australian reciprocal health care agreement. Therefore, it is recommended that every applicant must have health insurance.

Visa holder rights:

  • Stay in Australia for up to 12 months;
  • Working for up to six months per employer;

Is there any restriction on working time on a working holiday visa?

The main purpose of holding a working vacation visa is to take a holiday and the holder may work in Australia for a period of 12 months, but only for the same employer for a maximum of six months.
