2018 Lights Show, what's the difference?

2018 is the 10th anniversary of the Vivid Sydney celebration, this light and shadow party also invited the world's best artists to participate, you see not only brilliant lighting show, but also a variety of interesting big-name speeches. There are even singers who use songs to help! Miss once, regret a whole year ah!

What's the light show looking at?

Sydney Opera House (Sydney Opera House)

Adjacent to the circular wharf, The Rocks has a beautiful view of Sydney's landmark Harbour Bridge, has a wealth of ancient architectural history and culture, and during the day there is a wide variety of souvenir shops, handicraft shops and theme shops that are open.

And the night fell, and the lights were burning. In the light of the rock area as if dressed in gorgeous clothes. Show the world their attention.

The theme of Sydney Opera House is "Lighting of The Sails", which is presented by art ghost Jonathan Zawada. The bright color of random collocation, clever color conversion, let the spectators praise! Promise me I'm not done!

Sydney Harbour Bridge (Sydney Harbour Bridge)

Sydney Harbour Bridge will use a satellite navigation grid to coordinate lighting changes, each light change can give the "next shore to watch the fire" of your immersive feeling, can not help but cheer the beauty of the night!

Australian Museum of Contemporary Art (Museum of Contemporary Art Australia)

The usual khaki-yellow building turned into a brightly lit new coat for a twinkling moment. Turn the solemn building into a fantastic dream museum! As if in a colorful dream.

The lighting show was produced by artist JonnyNiesche and composer MarkPritchard. Colleagues who enjoy the lighting show can also dance to the rhythm of the music, this real audition feast! It's good for you!

Sydney Moon Park (Luna Park Sydney)

In the 10th anniversary celebration, the most notable is that Luna Park finally joined the Lights Music Festival family. In this place full of laughter, will be proud of the world to show their 83-year-old history!

(Royal Botanic Gardens) Royal Botanical Garden, Sydney

Sydney Royal Botanical Garden has more than 7000 species of plants, during the day flowers compete. At night here will be transformed into a world of lights! The beautiful fantasy of "Aqueous" is a path of light and shadow that can interact with people. The size of the step will have different lighting effects experience! Set foot on this path can create their own lighting DIY show ah!

Designers from Tibet worked with local artists at the Royal Botanical Garden in the far-reaching "Wish Happiness" to transform the merry-go-round into a giant turnkey. In the western culture embellished with the Oriental charm, truly restored the Australian multiculturalism purpose.

Tyranga Zoo (Taronga Zoo)

The unique theme of this wonderful zoo, "Wildlife Light (Lights for the Wild), showcases more than 219 light sculptures showing some of the most amazing but endangered wildlife from marine, jungle and forest habitats. Feel the shock lighting effect, but also can understand the value of wild animals.

Balangaru (Barangaroo)

The day is the workplace of the elite, and at night it's a starry place to turn into a fantastic hall of attention. Barangaroo's streets will be filled with a miraculous giant puppet, echoed by the BGM behind it.

Darling Port (Darling Harbour)

If marine life can fly freely in the sky, it must be Alice in Wonderland. But Lights Day is to create everything impossible! in 2018, you will see all kinds of marine life floating in the air, giving you a wonderful lighting journey.

(Chatswood) Central Business District

If you don't want to be in the middle of a fuss, then Chatswood is the ideal choice. The buildings, shopping malls, streets and alleyways were carefully wrapped in dazzling lights. In the lighting night market Light Market can not only enjoy beautiful lights but also enjoy a variety of gourmet, two birds with one stone!

Besides the lights, there's music!

The rhythmic changes of the lights, of course, should be accompanied by background music, which is needed for the finishing point of the VIVID SYDNEY. The concert featured up to 100 performances at major venues such as Sydney Opera House, Sydney Concert Hall and Sydney City Hall, Leadbelly Newtown. The spectacle is self-evident!

Take a few chestnuts to express the editor's expectation of this lighting music festival.

Pop? Rock? Rap tongue

American dream pop band Mazzy Star was the first to ignite the atmosphere, with West Coast rapper godfather Ice Cube blowing up the scene with a musical rhythm. And the post-90s indie rock singer Cat Power blew your eye!

Sydney concert hall

The melancholy of jazz, flowing slowly through the heart in a quiet way, flows into the ear, tranquil and far away. Three-time Grammy-winning saxophone Branford Marsalis will lead his band to a heart-shaking jazz performance, famous jazz singer KurtElling and Madeleine Peyroux and actress Lea Delaria.

ST. Vincent

She is an American musician, singer and multi-instrument performer. She is also the 57th Grammy winner. He also won the Best alternative album Award. Such a unique style of singer must be able to make VIVID SYDNEY unique, hi!
