Snowy River National Park

Snowy River National Park, Yalmy VIC 3885, Australia

Introduction of Snowy River National Park

Located in the hinterland mountains of eastern Victoria, about 360km by car from Victoria's capital Melbourne, Snowy River National Park covers an area of 987km2 and was listed on the Australian National Heritage list in 2008.

The vast mountains and forests of Snowy River National Park, with mysterious underground caves and a variety of fast waterfalls, are suitable for water sports of all kinds of adventures. Visitors can canoe from McGillopoupe Bridge (McKillops Bridge) all the way to Barreholly (Balley Hooley), which is arguably the best place to drift around Melbourne. It took three to four days to complete such a trip, so camping was the perfect choice. Xuehe Park camping camp has a wealth of facilities, toilets, picnic tables, fireplace is also available. And if you like a leisurely vacation, Snow River Park can satisfy you as well, and the water flowing up the snowy mountains slowly flows into the quiet waters of shallow rock pools between the broad sandy beaches and the rapids of the Diedict River, (Deddick River),. It's a great natural swimming ground.
