(Lifou Island (Lifou Island,) is an island of French New Caledonia (New Caledonia, (French: Nouvelle- Al é donie), located on the eastern side of (Grande Terre), the main island of New Caledonia, covering an area of about 1200 square kilometres and a permanent population of about 10000 people.

Lifou Island is a raised atoll with many coral limestone caves on the island, magnificent cliffs and beautiful beaches make the island as charming as a fairyland, and the small town of We (pronounced "Wei") is the administrative center of Lifou Island, located on the east coast of the island. There is a small airport on the island (Lifou Airport, three-word code: LIF), flights to and from the capital of New Caledonia Noum é a (Noumea) and a number of other surrounding islands can also be from Noum é a by ferry.

Lifou Island has invincible tropical scenery, blue sea, clear water, fine sand, is the paradise of the diver.
