Umoona Opal Mine & Museum (Umoona Opal Mine & Museum is located in the inland desert of South Australia, the small town of Coober Pedy., known as the "underground city".
Located on the main street of Coober Pedy, Umoona Opal Mine & Museum was once a opal (Opal, Opel, Australian gemstone, etc.) mine and has now been converted into the largest single underground tourist attraction in Coober Pedy, offering a collection of museums. Aobao stores and accommodations and other services in one comprehensive tourist attractions.
Walking through Umoona Opal Mine & Museum, visitors will learn about the history of Aboriginal and European settlements in the desolate interior of South Australia, guided by guided tours and experiences of underground life in the showroom. Or watch the mining scene in a real mine, watch the award-winning documentary "the story of Aobao" in the Panorama Theater, and then visit the retail showroom, which includes Australia's largest luxury collection of Australian jewels.
