Kuranda Scenic Railway is a sightseeing train from Keynes to Kuranda in Queensland, Australia. The slow, retro-styled train traverses the rainforest, stops at Freshwater, and stops at the Byron Falls viewing platform (Barron Falls Lookout) for a short stop to take pictures of visitors getting off the bus. One-way trip takes an hour and 55 minutes, two shifts a day. Both the appearance and interior of the small train are simple, spacious and comfortable. Along the way, there are warm children and train residents in the residential areas to say hello, be sure to wave to everyone.
