The Berri Cells Door (Berri ESTATE) is located at the Gloussp in the western suburb of the town of the valley of the north-eastern part of the state of South Australia, about 7 kilometers from Bella.
The valley area is one of the most important wine-producing areas in the state of South Australia, and Berri Cellar Door is one of the well-known wineries. Berri Cellar Door's history is not long, and it was founded in 1924 by a few grapes. In the first place, the winery is dominated by the production of fortified wine. In the late 1930s, the winery manager and the grapes and farmers saw the popularity of the wine, and in order to cater to this new market demand, the winery manager began to expand the scale of the vineyards and the area of the grape planting, and to produce daily meals. At present, Berri Cellar Door has become the largest and most productive vineyard in full-slice vineyards in Australia, and the winery has more than 70,000 tons of wine per year.
The valley area where Berri Cellar Door is located is not high elevation, flat terrain and good geographical advantages. It is convenient for Berri Cellar Door to adopt modern large-scale machine irrigation and mechanical operation such as grape picking and so on. The soil in the winery vineyard is dominated by sandy loam, and the (Murray River) of the Murray River, which flows through the vineyard, provides convenience for large-scale irrigation. Due to the large scale of the vineyard, Berri Cellar Door managers also grow a variety of grape varieties in the garden, including Cabernet Sauvignon (Cabernet Sauvignon), Chardonnay (Chardonnay) and Sila (Shiraz).
