Lake Baroon is located in the Sunshine Coast region of southeastern Queensland. (Sunshine Coast Region), is about 5 kilometers from Montville, known as Little Switzerland, and about 100 kilometers from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland.
Lake Baroon is an artificial reservoir formed by (Baroon Pocket Dam) truncation of Obi River (Obi Creek) in Barun Pocket Dam, which mainly serves as a source of water for nearby areas.
Lake Baroon is surrounded by mountains and forests, beautiful scenery, clear water quality, the right combination of the lake and mountains, the sun shines, the lake scenery is imaginative. Activities such as boating, fishing (requiring a license) can be carried out in Lake Baroon.
