Boyd Tower is located in the southeastern tip of New South Wales at the northernmost end of Boyd National Park (Ben Boyd National Park), opposite Eden, the southernmost town of New South Wales, across from (Twofold Bay), Tupford Bay, and driving about 35 kilometers.
Built in 1847, Boyd Tower was used as an observation post to guide whalers, and when observers saw whales, they fired shots to inform whalers at sea. , Boyd Tower was also abandoned as the whaling industry stopped in Australia and was included in this Boyd National Park in 1976 as a tourist attraction open to the public.
Boyd Tower is 18.9 meters high, made of stone. Boyd Tower is located on the coast edge of the cliff, about 200 meters from the parking lot within walking distance of 200m, surging waves under the lighthouse against the red cliffs, the scenery is very spectacular.
