Paul Wild Observatory Narrabri is located in the western suburb of Narrabri, a small inland town in northern New South Wales, about 25 kilometers from the heart of Narrabri.
Paul Wild Observatory Narrabri has the compact array of Australian telescopes (Australia Telescope Compact Array,ATCA), six 22-meter diameter astronomical radio arrays for astronomical exploration. All the way west from Narrabri to the observatory is an excellent observatory region with pure air and little light pollution, and in the clear night sky, the clear Milky way hangs like a silver belt across the sky.
Narrabri Paul Wilde Astronomical is a free access to the educational base, but in the area please turn off electronic devices such as mobile phones to avoid interference with radio telescopes.
