Introduction of Iron Range National Park

The Iron Range National Park (Iron Range National Park, also known as Kutini-Payamu National Park), is located in northern Queensland north of Cape York Peninsula (Cape York Peninsula), about 430km from Queensland's famous tourist city of Cairns. The Cape York Peninsula West Coast town of (Weipa) is about 100km by car and covers an area of 346km2.

Iron Range National Park protects Australia's largest lowland rainforest, eucalyptus and white thousand-storey forests, as well as Phoebe-covered hills providing an excellent setting for endless beaches, rocky outcrops and mangroves.

Visitors can enjoy jungle camping at campsites in the National Park, a 10-kilometer hike along the (Claudie River) bank of the Claudio River, or a spotlight to view green pythons and common marsupials. Find eclectic parrots and brown-tree cockatoos, visit viewing platforms, enjoy the beauty of Mount (Mount Tozer) and surrounding heather fields, or stroll along the white beach of (Chili Beach), chili Beach.
