Wollomombi Falls is located north of (Oxley Wild Rivers National Park), the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park in (New England Region), northeast New South Wales, about 40 kilometers by car from Amidair (Armidale), a small town on the northern highlands of (Northern Tablelands).
The Wollomombi Falls is the second highest waterfall in Australia with a 150-meter fall, but the waterfall is season-affected and can be spectacular during the rainy season.
