Wellington Dam is located in (Wellington National Park), Wellington National Park, west of Collie, a small town in southwest Australia, about 25 kilometers from the heart of Collie.
Wellington Dam is located on the (Wellington Reservoir) of Wellington Reservoir, with its vast and clear waters, interesting history, charming lanes and magnificent scenery for fishing, swimming and boating. There are several picturesque walking trails around the dam and through the surrounding eucalyptus forest. Fishing is one of the most popular recreational activities on Wellington Dam, but according to the season catch of red fin bass, (Redfin Perch), rainbow trout (Rainbow Trout) and Australian blue devil shrimp (Marron), you need to hold a fishing permit to fish here. Permits can be purchased at the local post office.
