Honeymoon Pool, located on the (Collie River) bank of the (Wellington National Park), Shepherd River at Wellington National Park in eastern Western Australia, is known as one of Australia's most beautiful campsites.
Honeymoon Pool was rumored to have its name because it was used as an army training camp during World War II, and when the soldiers arrived, they found several couples camping here for their honeymoon. So named. Honeymoon Pool is quiet and peaceful, isolated and picturesque, water clear as God-given, and there are many footpaths to explore.
