Central Queensland city Rockhampton is located on the Tropic of Cancer and is the latitude from which the sun's direct point of return moves to the southmost point. Geographically, the area north of the Tropic of Cancer belongs to the tropics (but some are located between the Tropic of Cancer, but the temperature is not high, so it does not belong to the tropics).
The South Return Route Visitor Centre (Capricorn Tourism Visitor Information Centre), located on the Des Pass (Gladstone Road) in downtown Rockhampton, has access to various tourist information souvenirs, etc. The entrance to the Centre is a building that marks the South Return Route, known as the The Spire Tropic of Capricorn Visitor Information (The Spire Tropic of Capricorn Visitor Information), where visitors will visit the Rockhampton to leave photo.
