Djukbinj National Park is located in the northern interior of the Northern Territory, about 90 kilometers from Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, covering an area of 554.41 square kilometers.
It is about an hour's drive from Darwin to Djukbinj National Park, along the Anam Highway (Arnhem Hwy), which is part of the scenic McLakay (Marrakai) floodplain and plays a role in collecting and draining water on the Adelaide River (Adelaide River). Full of water throughout the year makes the park a habitat and breeding place for water birds, geese, egrets and Australian cranes.
