Introduction of Wombeyan Caves

Wombeyan Caves is located in (Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve), the Wobbie Karst Reserve in the southern highlands of (Southern Highlands), southeast New South Wales, about 270km from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. About 75 kilometers by car from the southern highland town of Gulbenn (Goulburn).

Wombeyan Caves, composed of several karst caves, is a popular tourist destination in the area, including Victoria Arch (Victoria Arch), the nearest cave to the campsite. The figs cave (Figtree Cave) is considered to be one of the best places to explore New South Wales's self-service cave adventure. Wombeyan Caves has a number of campgrounds, pavilions, public telephones, kitchens and other public facilities. In addition, the Wombeyan Caves reserve also protects some endangered wild species.
