Roma

Introduction of Roma

Located in the southeastern Queensland of Maranola, with a permanent population of about 7000, Roma is the administrative center of the Maranola region, about 470km from the Queensland capital, Brisbane.

Roma has a long history and has been settled by European colonists since the 1860s, 1867. The town was officially established and named after Lady Diamantina-Roma, the wife of George (George Bowen), Queensland's first governor, Bao En.

Stylish cafes, scented restaurants and exquisite shopping boutiques make Roma full of both the beauty of the big city and the comfort and comfort of the small town, which retains a vast array of outstanding historic buildings. Included in the (Roma Court House), Public Library of the Court of Rome, Church of S ã o Paulo (St Paul') S Anglican Church) et al. It is worth mentioning that the church of Sao Paulo dates back to 1875 and its beautiful stained glass windows are extremely impressive and are open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from April to October.
