Portsea (Portsea, (Harbour Town) is located at the southwestern end of (Mornington Peninsula), the Monington Peninsula, south of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, about 110km by car from Melbourne, close to the permanent population of (Sorrento), in Sorento.
Portsea is a popular resort, especially in the summer, with beautiful and gentle beaches, well-maintained golf courses, fine coffee shops and luxurious, expensive villas by the seaside, and the water near the docks is clear. Aquatic animals are clear and perfect for diving.
