Gatton is a small town in (Lockyer Valley), south-east of Queensland, between Brisbane, Queensland's capital, and (Toowoomba), Queensland's sixth-largest city, about 90 kilometers east from Brisbane. It is about 30 kilometers west from Tuvenba.
Gatton is the largest town and important business center in Rockwell Valley, and for travelers, Gatton has everything you need for a trip, big supermarkets, shopping areas, restaurants, cafes, bars, parks and protected areas. In 2009, the Rockill Valley Cultural Center, (Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre), opened to the public, consisting of tourist centers, libraries, art galleries, cafes and conference rooms, and was a great place to learn about the region's long history.
