In Melbourne in the early hours of Saturday, a criminal gang of six men robbed the streets of CBD. One victim was sexually assaulted while the other woman was punched in the face.
At about 4 a.m. on Saturday, two Melbourne women walked on Queen`s Street, (Queen Street), and six men suddenly approached and stole their portable speakers and cigarettes, followed by a personal assault on them, Radio 7 reported.
The suspect escaped after the attack, including an African-American teenager wearing a Paris family (Balenciaga) T-shirt, according to a statement issued by the state police.
And this is not the beginning of this gang of men`s criminal activity.
At about 08:45 on Friday night, a male passer-by on (Swanston Street), Swanston Street, Melbourne, was nearly robbed of his cell phone and wallet by five men.
The men committed another attack in the early hours of Saturday morning, stealing cigarettes from two passers-by and trying to steal their mobile phones in (Banana Alley), banana lane. After the criminal gang got away, the two victims caught up and were beaten. The two victims were subsequently taken to hospital for treatment, and the injuries were not life-threatening.
At least two of the suspects were also suspected of taking part in the fourth robbery outside a restaurant on the southern bank of (Southbank) at 7 a.m. Saturday. Two victims were robbed of their mobile phones, one of whom was hit in the head and slightly injured.
At present, the police have arrested two suspects involved in the case, is being questioned.
