A Melbourne public bus has safety concerns, a shopping mall car park has been shut down and police explosion-proof teams have arrived.
At about 9 p. M. Thursday, an eyewitness said she and the others were escorted from the Northland mall and asked to turn off her cell phone.
As a precaution, the parking lot was closed, police carried out safety checks on a bus at Preston in Murray Road, and explosion-proof teams were on their way, police said.
Mcclelland (Jodie McClelland) was also one of the customers in panic at the scene. "there`s a lot of police or security guys looking for something," she said.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
"the police are currently carrying out a safety check on a bus in Murray Road and the car park in the adjacent shopping mall has been closed and, as a precaution, bus services in the area have been transferred."
