An Australian grandmother taxi driver accumulated nearly 30 traffic violations and asked a blind passenger to show the way and lost his taxi qualification card.

Eddard (Hawa Add), a 69-year-old taxi driver in Melbourne, has been banned from driving taxis because of speeding several times, running red lights and not restricting children to child safety seats, the Daily Mail reported.

Eddard has appeared in court eight times, accumulated 27 traffic violations, and has been subject to disciplinary action on three occasions.

In addition to violating traffic regulations, Eddard has been repeatedly complained by passengers, including requiring blind passengers to show directions, not using GPS and refusing to accept cash payments.

Since driving a taxi in 2004, Somalia-born Eide has received 21 formal complaints from passengers. Due to the large number of complaints, Victoria Roads (VicRoads) investigates whether Ed should hold a driver`s license, let alone a taxi driver.

In 2013, Eddard was suspended for the first time as a taxi driver, and she was ordered to take taxi driving courses and customer service courses.

Despite Eddard`s training, passenger complaints persist. In 2015, Eddard was warned that severe measures would be taken if misconduct continued.

In 2017, Eddard`s taxi driver was completely disqualified after receiving more complaints.

Eddard dissatisfied and filed a prosecute lawsuit with the Uygur Civil Administrative Arbitration Tribunal (VCAT).

Although Adam Mohamed, the secretary of the Australian Muslim Social Services Agency, issued a certificate of conduct, indicating that Ed is decent and honest. However, Anna Dea, a senior member of the Victorian Civil Administrative Arbitration Tribunal, eventually refused to reinstate Eder ` s taxi driver qualification.
