A woman`s body was found in Melbourne`s CBD Chinatown early this morning. At present, the identity of the woman has not been determined.

At about 06:30, a woman was found dead in Chinatown at the intersection of (Little Bourke Street) Little Birkstreet and (Celestial Avenue) Avenue in Melbourne, Radio 7 and Australian News reported.


On-site officers said to the media that they thought the victim was about 33 years old. The police are now on-the-spot and part of the area is closed.
