A woman`s body was found in Melbourne`s CBD Chinatown early this morning. At present, the identity of the woman has not been determined. Police have arrest a 32-year-old man this afternoon.


At about 06:30, a woman was found dead in Chinatown at the intersection of (Little Bourke Street) Little Birkstreet and (Celestial Avenue) Avenue in Melbourne, Radio 7 and Australian News reported.

Police officers at the scene told the media they believed the victim was about 33 years old. Police are currently on-site investigation, small Berkshire Street part of the area closed.

"the case is still in the early stages of the investigation," said Peel (Craig Peel), acting Superintendent of the Victoria State Police Department.

The police said that after the people found the body and reported the police, the police and medical staff arrived at the scene, the woman has no chance of survival. The cause of death of this woman is still unclear, its identity has not been confirmed, and no family members have been notified.
