These job quotas continue to increase, but the number of applications has not increased!
Recently, the SBS counted six of Australia`s most underemployed EOI invitations, reigniting discussion of the one hundred and ninety thousand immigration quota.
Six of the most in short supply of immigrant occupations
In SBS`s statistics, the six most scarce occupations in Australia are: nurse, (nurse), electrician, (electricians), teacher, (secondary school teachers), auto technician, (motor mechanics), mechanic, (metal fitters and machinist), carpentry, (carpenter and joiner).
Quotas for more than six major occupations in the new fiscal year (2018 / 19) and invitations up to 9.11 are listed below (the previous round of 10.11EOI official reports have not been issued).
A comparison of the quotas and invitations for the six major occupations over the previous fiscal year (2017 / 18) is as follows:
With the exception of 2414 secondary school teachers (Secondary School Teachers), which compared with the last two years, there has been a slight increase in the number of job offers compared with the same period last year, and other job offers are not as large as the same period last year.
Of the 6 major occupations, 3232 fitter (metal fitters and machinist) is on table S and is suitable for walking 190407489 (state pole), TSS (2 years); the other 5 major occupations are on M form, which can take 18189 190407485 (1.5 years), 489, 489, and 4 years.

Many occupation quotas are too weak
Looking back at the invitation situation for the full year of FY2017 / 18, the six major occupation quotas remain numerous, and the established number of invitations is never over. Even so, in fiscal year 2018 / 19, total quotas for the six major occupations, except for 3411 electrician (Electricians), were increasing.
As mentioned above, in the current situation, the six major jobs in the current fiscal year are basically less than in the same period last year.
If we continue to do so, at the end of the fiscal year, the total number of invitees for the six professions will be smaller than last year. But most of the total quotas for these jobs are higher than last year, so that many of them will be wasted.
Similar situations are not limited to the six major occupations mentioned above. Australia`s agriculture has been facing a serious shortage of labour. In the list of immigrant occupations, there are many agricultural occupations, and there are relatively large quotas for each occupation.
Every year, however, the number of invitations to agricultural occupations is minimal and negligible. For example, for the whole of last fiscal year, none of the 1213 Livestock Farmers was invited (the vast majority of agricultural practitioners were unable to meet the immigration authorities` language and education requirements).
However, the occupation quota for the new fiscal year has soared by 645.
The number of invitees or uninvited occupations mentioned above is small or uninvited, but the corresponding quotas have been increased year by year. In other words, of the one hundred and ninety thousand quota for immigration, much of it is hypothetical.
Sadly, with the total quota unchanged, the increase in quotas for these underprivileged occupations no doubt means a reduction in the number of popular occupation quotas!
The hot profession is in an awkward position.
Among the most popular occupations in the current fiscal year, a number of job quotas have been slashed, and engineering occupations have been the heaviest.
Meanwhile, the EOI threshold rose to 65 points from 60. In fact, the actual invited threshold for accounting, IT and other professions has risen to 75! This makes struggling on the road in the small friend suffering unspeakable.
