A 9-year-old girl in northeast Melbourne was nearly taken by a man on her way to school.
A 9-year-old girl in Melbourne cycled to (Mernda Primary School). At Melda Elementary School around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a report on Radio 7. On the way, a 50-year-old man with a knife suddenly approached, grabbed the little girl`s bike, and threat said he would stab her with a knife.
The little girl walked away from the man. At this point, her mother called and the little girl escaped. The girl ran to school and reported the attempted kidnapping.
Dozens of police officers then rushed to the scene to carry out a large-scale search.
Police have arrest a suspect, sexual invasion, and Child abuse investigation team officers will question him.
The environment in the crime community was quite quiet, and local families were alarmed by the occurrence of such cases.
