A Victorian light plane crashed in southeastern Melbourne, leaving three people on board unharmed.

A light plane was preparing to land at (Tooradin Airfield) airport in Touladin southeast of Melbourne at 01:15 Friday afternoon when it was suddenly blown off course by strong winds, according to Channel 9. Eventually, the plane landed in a trench near the runway.

One man, one woman and two passengers from China were vacationing in Victoria and were being treated by (Ambulance Victoria) medical staff at the Victoria Ambulance Center for shock. The female pilot was also examined at the scene without being sent to medical treatment.

Witness Kristiansen (John Christiansen) revealed that the plane popped up on the runway and then fell into the trench.

"the three on board miraculously did a good job. When the plane stopped, they crawled out," said Victoria Police Officer Stuart (Fergus Stewart).

The damage to the light aircraft involved was severe, and the Virginia Rural Fire Service (Country Fire Authority) and the Environmental Protection Agency (Environment Protection Agency) are assessing fuel spill hazards.

The Australian Transport Safety Authority, (Australian Transport Safety Bureau), has also opened an investigation.
