EOI overview
Since 1 July 2012, the Australian Immigration Service has introduced a new visa invitation system for skilled immigrants,: EOI (Express of Interest). Simply put, EOI is an official scorecard posted on the immigration website. If we want to submit an application for skilled immigration, we must first submit the EOI score form to indicate our intention to emigrate. Before applying for a EOI score, we need to prepare a career assessment letter, a language score approved by the Immigration Service, and a 60-point combination structure that we estimate. The submitted EOI application will be in a "application pool", from which the Migration Board will each month select eligible applicants according to their needs, and we will have to wait for the Migration Board to select our EOI and issue an invitation. Before you can submit visa materials and apply for a visa. In general, with the exception of 489 relatives-guaranteed skilled immigrant visas in remote areas, the 60-point eligibility line for other categories of skilled immigrants is invited. Conditions for submitting EOI and related key points
According to the EOI scale, applicants have reached 60 points (with the exception of popular professions such as accounting, IT and so on, they can be invited by 60 in most cases);
The submission of the EOI is free and will remain for two years after entering the Application Pool, with the opportunity to submit twice per person;
Invite two batches per month, applicants must submit visa application within 60 days of receiving the invitation, otherwise the invitation will be invalidated;
The selection of invitation places is based on high to low scores, the same score according to submit early and late to accept the invitation;
After submitting the EOI, only the nominated occupation can not be changed, other scoring factors can be changed;
There are no time and geographical limits for submitting EOI applications.
