According to the Daily Mail, the number of foreign students robbed by violence at an elite university in Melbourne has increased.

In the past 18 days, police have received 13 reports of different attacks, with the youngest 19 years old and the oldest 55 years old.

On the night of April 18, Gao Kuan (Kuan Gao, a 19-year-old Chinese student, was robbed by three African-American men and stole iPhone cell phones and wallets while walking in a roadway near Monash University. Gao Kuan said several men were very urgent to ask him to hand over his wallet, one of whom also asked him to reset his mobile phone settings. He could not escape because several men had blocked him and the road near the school was too long.

It is reported that the problem of robbery in the laneway is so serious that a poster is posted to remind people to be careful of the mob. High-width says he`s going home to take the dangerous path, and now he`s only forced to go home at the Ubers car at night.

In addition, a month ago, another male student was robbed with a knife near Monash University. The suspect even snatched a jacket and shirt from his backpack after robbing the student of a brand new iPhone XR phone.

To make matters worse, some victims were still attacked after handing over their belongings.

Authorities believe it was the same gang of thugs who committed the same group of thugs in areas such as (Box Hill), Glenvili (Glen Waverly) and Oakley (Oakleigh), Ph.D. (Mount Waverly), in Waverly Mountain, (Burwood), Margraf.

Between April 25 and May 12, police raided homes in southeastern Melbourne and arrest several suspects in connection with the attacks, but some of them remain unaccounted for.

It is reported that the suspect is African appearance, the police are still in pursuit. The police also told the public that they would strengthen the police force in the relevant areas.

Students at Monash University can be escorted by security personnel to their cars, public transport stations or schools.
