The Australian Embassy and Consulate Weibo in China has just announced that the second batch of WHV quotas will be opened on October 31 (Beijing time) at 9: 00 a.m. (Beijing time).

The (WHV) quota for Australia's working vacation visa will be open on October 31, 2008 / 19.

A lot of people are expected to feel a little off-track (mostly on Monday), which is actually the usual style of immigration, such as 2.28 at the beginning of the year, so I`ve been advising you to prepare your materials as soon as possible.

The following materials need to be prepared before the quota grabs:

1. Passport: passport is a prerequisite for applying for any visa. You must provide a passport number when applying for an online quota, so you cannot make an appointment without a passport.

2. IELTS (or other English Certificate, within 12 months): IELTS A, Class G, with a total score of 4.5, does not require a single score.

In addition, PTE scores faster, you can also get a place after the examination (but look at the position, and to ensure that the one-time examination), but currently only north to Guangzhou examination room.

In addition to the IELTS test, there are other ways to prove English proficiency:

  • TOEFL (iBT) four subjects (oral, reading, listening, writing) should have a total score of 32 or more.
  • The four subjects (oral, reading, listening, writing) of the PTE academic English examination should have a total score of more than 30.
  • Cambridge English Test four subjects (oral, reading, listening, writing) should have a total score of 147 or more. Please note that this is not BEC..
  • Completion of primary school studies and at least 3 years of secondary school studies in English-only schools
  • At least 5 years of secondary school studies have been completed in English-only schools
  • Completed at least two years of full-time university programmes in English-only schools
  • At least one year of full-time university courses have been completed in Australian English-only schools

3. Notarization (request for translation, whether to prepare for your own discretion in advance, see below)

There are two materials that need to be notarized and translated: diplomas and transcripts (undergraduate or college students who have just completed two years of study, only two years of notarization), and no notarization.

Do you want to notarize in advance or not?

Local notarization time and fees vary greatly, you can choose to do it in advance, or you can get the quota to do it again. But one thing needs to be made clear first: if the notarization is done in advance, then there will be more optional time to make an appointment (at random within the range of one month), and if you are going to get the quota, then you will do it. You can only choose a later date (set aside time for notarization), which reduces the probability of appointment to the quota.

Diploma and transcript notarization process:

Students who have graduated from college or above can go directly to the school archives to collect their transcripts (stamped), and then take their graduation certificates and transcripts to the notary office (school location). Hukou seat notarization office can telephone consult, nearest notarization can) notarization and translation, do not need notarization certificate.

If you don`t graduate, you need to go to the school`s teaching office for at least two years` transcripts (stamped), then notarize and translate at the notary office. (it`s okay to finish two years of college. There`s a precedent for success.)

4. What about overseas education?

According to the above requirements for English performance, if one of the following requirements is met, no additional English certification or notarization diploma or transcript is required, since notarization offices in the country do not give notarization either.

  • Completed at least two years of full-time university programmes in English-only schools
  • At least one year of full-time university courses have been completed in Australian English-only schools

Overseas education is required to provide: overseas education certification of the Ministry of Education of China (if not submitted first, see the follow-up visa officer`s processing advice), graduation certificate, transcript three color copies of the documents.

As for the next batch of opening hours, according to the past rule is after the Spring Festival, February-March.
