Two Japanese men were arrested at Melbourne airport (Melbourne Airport) on suspicion of smuggling nearly 6 kilograms of meth into Australia.

On October 26, two 21-year-old Japanese men flew to Melbourne from Bangkok, Thailand, to carry out baggage checks, the Daily Mail reported.

The Australian Border Service (ABF) staff found suspicious in the X-ray scanning image and found the trick of the two men. The Border Service staff then drilled the trunk and found a white crystalline substance.

The Australian Border Defense Agency said in a statement that tests for the white substance showed methamphetamine (methamphetamine) reaction to be positive.

Two Japanese men have been charged with smuggling commercial quantities of border control drugs, with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. The two men will be tried in court on January 21 next year.

Australian Federal Police District Commander Palmer (Craig Palmer) said: "meth destroys the social atmosphere, causing families to be torn apart. The Australian Federal Police will do its best to stop it from flowing into Australian society. Hopefully this case will send a strong message to the drug traffickers that we will bring you to justice. "
