This autumn, the disappearance of Chu Yiwei (Yiwei Chu), a Chinese student, has always affected the hearts of all Chinese in Australia. It has been three weeks since Ch`u lost contact on April 11, and the case has finally come to light. However, the impatient Chu family and the Chinese compatriots waiting in silence may be the news of Chu`s death.

The body of Chu Yi-Reed is believed to have been found in a canyon in western Melbourne, the Australian news agency reported.

Chu, a Chinese national who has lived in Australia for eight years, is a student of Melbourne Institute of Technology (Melbourne Institute of Technology), who lived in the (Glen Waverly) district of Melbourne`s Glenwevelli before he disappeared.

At noon on April 11, Ch`u Yiwei was seen buying lunch at a Hungry Jacks fast-food restaurant in (Notting Hill), Notting Hills, his last appearance on surveillance cameras. He was wearing black-framed glasses, a cream-and-brown camouflage jacket and a black Snoopy (Snoopy) jacket, dark blue jeans and black white-soled sneakers.

It is believed that the vehicle Ch`u Yiwei was driving when he disappeared was a 2016 white Toyota Camry, licence plate No. 1LN3VR., which was seen by witnesses in a parking lot in (Werribee Gorge) National Park, Willoughby Canyon, on April 27. The police then turned their search focus to the area.

Last night, a man`s body was found by passers-by near Willoughby Canyon. Police did not think it was a suspicious death.
