On Wednesday afternoon, an elderly Melbourne couple signed a bag with the wrong address and called the police. Police found that the package contained a market price of A $10 million drug. Police seized another 20 kilograms of drug and arrest, a young Chinese-American involved in the case.

A package was mistakenly delivered to a resident`s home in (Hoppers Crossing), Hupper Street, (Werribee), southwest of Melbourne, around 1 noon on Wednesday, comprehensive media reported.

An elderly couple who lived here signed the package and opened it curiously, found bags of white powder in it, and immediately contacted the police.

Senior Superintendent Koshaw (Matthew Kershaw) said the couple "called the police as soon as they looked at the white material in the package."

"they`re not sure what this is," she said. "they asked each other if they were worried about ordering, but obviously they didn`t shop or order anything online, and they thought it might be the wrong address."

Police told the couple that the white powder was drug and began investigating the sender and the correct recipient.

According to police, the contents of the package are about 20 kilograms of methamphetamine, commonly known as methamphetamine, and the market price is expected to be A $10 million. It is believed that the package was not intended to be sent to the old couple`s home.

"the occupants here are obviously very old, so they can`t be sure of the seriousness of what they have found," Koshaw said. But we know this is very serious, but we also assure them that what they are doing is absolutely right. "

After investigation, on Wednesday night, police searched a house in (Maroondah Terrace), (Bundoora) Marunda Road, northern Melbourne, and seized another 20 kilograms of methamphetamine, bringing the methamphetamine involved in the case to 40 kilograms. The value reached A $20 million.

Police later also arrest a Chinese man who was not inside the house when the warrant was executed.

Earlier reports said a 21-year-old man had been arrested, but the Australian news agency reported Thursday afternoon that 30-year-old Ma Zhiling, a Chinese-American man, had been arrested.)

He was charged with smuggling commercial quantities of methamphetamine. When he appeared in Melbourne`s Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon, he did not apply for bail. He was remanded in custody and will appear again on July 29.
