An amazing sight on the west coast of Tazhou ,70 whales stranded
As many as 70 whales stranded at a port on the west coast of Tasmania.
Marine conservation experts have been dispatched to the port of Makquarie near Strasbourg (Strahan)(Macquarie Harbour).
Tasmanian Police Department and Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment Bureau (DPIPWE) are also present.
These animals, believed to be pilot whales, are on a sandbar.
DPIPWE said in a statement that the whales ran aground in Macquarie.
