Since Ade entered autumn, the rain has been rolling and the temperature has plummeted. The food in the storeroom began to grow moldy, and the mushrooms in the woods gradually popped out of their heads. In the southeast forest, a group of elves are also quietly awakening.
About 360km southeast of Adelaide, there is a forest called Mount Gambier Forest Reserve,. From May to July every year, a mushroom called Ghost Mushroom appears in the forest. When the sun goes down, the mushrooms in the woods glow green and look like elves from afar.
There is a path in the forest called Ghost Mushroom Lane, where visitors can observe mushrooms on both sides of the trail.

After more than five hours of driving, he dodged the sheep sitting in the middle of the road and avoided the kangaroos who skipped the road.
I arrived at the forest, but the entrance of the path was not marked on the map, and was finally found in the dark of the forest, which I could not see. If you want to go, look for coordinates: 37 °43 & # 39, 52.5 "S, 140 °39 & # 39, 12.2" E.
At the entrance to the forest, goverment placed a sign with a label in it. Visitors can search for mushrooms during the day and at night in the dark with tags.
The path is accessible by car, and there are two open spaces for parking. Then you take the equipment and go on foot to observe the mushrooms on both sides of the path.
Because the time came earlier, so mushrooms are not very much, and not very bright, and not like the Internet said "the light can see." Bright mushrooms can be seen more than a dozen meters away, while darker mushrooms may not be visible at all.
The whole forest was completely engulfed by darkness, invisible, and even looked up to see the Milky way. The wind rustled the leaves, and from time to time dew dripped to the ground. There were branches and leaves under his feet, and there was hardly any way out of the path.
Although there are many lighting fixtures, the visual range is only one or two meters around. If you want to go, it is highly recommended that you go together. Everyone should wear a headlight and one should carry at least two flashlights. Once the light is lost, it is impossible to get out of the forest.
However, mushrooms are still quite beautiful, bright green light in the night. If you want to record these beautiful moments, it is better to use a non-reverse or SLR camera, coupled with a tripod, and you can record the beautiful moments of these elves.
One of the mushrooms in the woods was separated, and some grew together in large clusters. However, separate mushrooms tend to be brighter, and the mushrooms that grow together are not so bright.

Finally, I would like to remind you that the location of this trip is not suitable for ordinary tourists. If you have the spirit of adventure, it is not recommended if you just want to go to see it. It is cold and dark at night, and it is more dangerous. We are advised to go with each other. It would be nice to go to lobster town or Blue Lake in the near future.
